Blend
54% Cab. Sauv.
35% Cab. Franc
11% Malbec

We hand harvested sections of our best rows of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec from our desertic, stony vineyard ‘Desert Ridge’ in Osoyoos on the 23rd of October 2014. After destemming, we added approximately 500kg of berries to the Amphora without any additions such as sulphur dioxide or acid. We sealed the amphora and walked away. Nine months later we pressed off the grapes by stomping on them. After another eight weeks in small stainless steel tanks, we bottled the wine unfiltered without any additives. We only yielded 35 cases (410 hand numbered bottles) from the Amphora.

A Not-So-Little, Little Thing
Nine months on skins and seeds allows the wine tannins to polymerize and soften. This natural wine is all about texture.

This wine had no edges. It rolled into the mouth and over the tongue with a soft smoothness.
