A powerful and ripe Rose, this wine is a blend of our Home Block and Simes vineyard Pinot Noirs. We hand-harvest this and then foot-tread the grapes to break up the skins and allow time for the skins and juice to macerate together - typically between thirty and ninety minutes. We then press the grapes and treat the wine like a white, carefully protecting aromatics and using lees contact and unique vessels to build weight and texture.
