Blend
100% Sauvignon Blanc

This is a single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Border Vista Vineyard in Osoyoos. It comes from two lower cropping blocks within the vineyard. A large canopy was maintained in the blocks throughout the summer to retain green characters in the finished wine. After harvest, the grapes received 2 – 4 hours of skin contact in the press before being pressed off and fermented. Half of the wine was fermented in stainless steel to retain fresh aromatics while 40% was fermented in foudre and 10% in concrete to give roundness, texture, and length.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Gooseberry, green peppers, oily texture, bright acid and balanced weight on the palate.
Vineyard Notes
Above average growing degree days in the spring contributed to an early budbreak. Cooler days and evenings arrived in August, which slowed down the ripening of the grapes and allowed for greater flavour development while retaining freshness and acidity.
Winemaker Notes
Enjoy now or cellar until 2022.
Food Pairing Notes
White fish, Southeast Asian-inspired shellfish dishes, heavy vegetable dishes, or goat cheese.
Production
429 cases produced.
